We Proudly Partner with Recircle
to Recycle and Reuse.

AMERISAN believes that recycling plastic is our environmental responsibility.

Recycle
and Reuse

Many of the products AMERISAN distributes are made from polypropylene, polyethylene, and other forms of plastic. This includes PPE such as single use masks, disposable aprons/gowns, hair/beard covers, can liners and plastic wrap. These plastic based products are nondegradable, and can take as long as 450 years to breakdown into microplastic. Disposing of plastic based PPE along with other mainstream garbage is not eco-friendly. Since PPE does not decompose, it ends up in our oceans and landfills causing damage to wild-life and our lives.

AMERISAN believes the responsible and environmentally right way to dispose of plastic is to recycle and reuse what was once deemed waste.

Our customers asked us to help them to responsibly dispose and epicycle their plastic based waste.

Proud
Partners

AMERISAN proudly partners with the recycling group Recircle to recycle and reuse plastic based PPE. Recircle brings together industry leading polymers scientists, recycling professionals and manufacturers to help our customers recycle plastic waste.

Recircle’s recycling program takes what was once ocean or landfill bound PPE and recycles it into other non-food grade products that can be used in other parts of your business, such as plastic pallets, buckets, and storage bins. Recircle’s program makes it simple for companies to join the cause.

Why Recircle?

The world is in a plastic crisis. Plastic pollution has become one of the most critical environmental issues, as rapidly increasing production of disposable plastic products overwhelms the world’s ability to deal with them.
Plastic-based PPE is disposed of, worldwide, each and every day.
Plastic production is expected to DOUBLE by 2050.
are suffering from impacts from plastic.
(including endangered species)
Plastic eventually finds its way into our food and water streams.

How the Recircle Program Works

AMERISAN can supply customers with Recircle recycling bins or boxes depending on volume of waste produced.
Personnel dispose of their PPE in these recycling receptacles
Bins are palletized and sent to the centers to be sorted, cleaned and recycled into reusable feedstock.
Feedstock is manufactured into lumber that can be used as building materials, pallets and many other items.
Recycling PPE not only keeps plastic out of our landfill and ocean

It's the Right thing to do!
